We understand that to be the best independent financial planning company in the UK, we need not only to recruit the best people, but to develop them.
We believe all Financial Planners and Paraplanners should be qualified to Chartered and Fellow status and be Occupational Pension Specialists.
The Attivo Group Academy offers exceptional training which has been mapped across numerous roles within Financial Services and financial planning firms to enable our people to gain the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to provide excellent service to our clients.
As well as full study support, you will be coached by experienced members of our team to help develop your knowledge of the industry and how we work. Our Managers conduct regular one-to-one reviews to identify your development needs and devise an appropriate training and development plan for you.
All Financial Planners require a Diploma in Financial Planning to give advice. We support our employees through the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the professional body for insurance and financial services.
One of the ways we do this is through our Financial Adviser Apprenticeship in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire. This structured learning plan gives you the opportunity to obtain a professional qualification whilst gaining valuable industry experience and earning a full-time salary. As an apprentice, you will spend one day a week in lectures at the university coupled with individual study to achieve your Diploma over 12-18 months.
Following successful completion of R01-R06, you will hold the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (100 credits). As a Chartered financial planning firm, we want all our Financial Planners and Paraplanners to reach Chartered status by completing the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.
Along with five years’ Financial Services experience, you will need an additional 190 credits so it is typically necessary to take four or five Advanced Papers (dependent on past qualifications which may count towards your credits), as well as a couple of supplementary exams.
We provide full study support for this and the additional qualifications needed to attain Fellowship (60 additional credits). We also support further qualifications such as a Master’s degree or MBA in Financial Planning.
