We think that the best way to look after clients is with a team of competent, experienced financial services specialists.

All of our teams work together to deliver the truly independent advice and excellent service that our clients deserve. An overview of what each team does is outlined below.

Financial Planning

Our Financial Planners are responsible for understanding our clients’ financial circumstances and delivering the most appropriate recommendations. They work with our clients to design a financial plan to help them achieve their financial goals.

Our Trainee Financial Planning Team provides support to our Financial Planners and clients. They assist with the onboarding of new and acquired clients, liaise with product providers and insurance companies to obtain policy information and prepare the Financial Planners for client meetings.

Paraplanning

Our Paraplanner Team provides full support to the Financial Planning Team. This includes assisting with the analysis and preparation of advice reports and helping to identify the most appropriate products in the market to meet clients’ financial needs.

The Trainee Paraplanning Team support our Paraplanners, Financial Planners, and clients by assisting with incoming calls, liaising with platform and investment companies to implement client instructions, and provide client reporting.

Support

Our Compliance Team provides support to the business to ensure it meets its regulatory obligations through advice, oversight, training and reporting. Full complaints are handled by the Compliance Team and they oversee expressions of dissatisfaction.

Our Technology Team consists of both internal and external staff. They not only act as the first point of contact for any technology related questions or problems, but are also responsible for the introduction of new technology and improvements within the business.

Our Information Systems Team supports the business by providing software and hardware support. Their focus is on improving and maintaining data integrity, maintaining and developing the back office software and processes and providing and maintaining hardware, including infrastructure.

Our Marketing and Communications Team are responsible for developing our brand and embedding our mission and values through each function of the business. The team designs and produces all internal and external collateral, including client forms and brochures, our quarterly Life magazine, stationery, website and social media. The team works closely with the Acquisitions team and vendors to ensure initial contact with new clients is of the highest standard in line with our premium brand.

The Acquisitions Team is responsible for identifying quality acquisitions in line with the Group’s strategy. They support the board through initial discussions and are a key contact for vendors. They manage all acquisitions, including identifying and engaging resources and supporting individuals and teams to deliver on the acquisition objectives, ensuring the process for vendors and clients is seamless.

The Finance Team supports the business by allocating receipts against client plans, managing supplier payments and reporting financial information, as well as ensuring that all financial statutory and regulatory reporting is adhered to. The team supports the acquisition of new businesses and are responsible for the financial and legal due diligence of the process, as well as monitoring post acquisition performance.

The Human Resources Team are responsible for driving the ‘people agenda’ by providing strategic and day-to-day HR support to the business and its employees. Whilst seeing that legally relevant processes and policies are maintained, the team ensure that positive employee relations are preserved and a fair and consistent approach to people management and resourcing is embedded.

The Talent and Development Team focus on ensuring that the Company has the right frameworks and opportunities in place to develop the capabilities, identify and maximise the potential of employees to driving excellence in line with our values and behaviours. They also oversee the Management Development Programme, ensuring our Managers are equipped with the skills and behaviours to embed a culture of high performance within their teams.

The Facilities Team are responsible for managing and maintaining our multiple office locations by building and maintaining relationships we have with our landlords. They are also responsible for the health and safety of our employees and facilities, as well as the sourcing and management of all business assets.
